Anna University Results 2012 – 8th Semester

Anna University will announce the 8th semester results for the academic year 2011-2012 very soon within two weeks. As per the announcement made by  Thiru P Palaniappan , the Co-Chancellor and the Higher education minister of Tamilnadu in the Tamilnadu Assembly. The final year students were suffered a lot as the exams were postponed by a month. To reduce the problems for those students the University has decided to announce the results by the end of June or the first week of July.

After the merger of the 5 universities , for the first time the semester exams were conducted by the Anna University for all the 5 universities at June / July. The exam schedule was rescheduled about 3 times due to many confusions with the different subjects and the syllabus in a single semester. This let the students to be mentally stressed as the final year students where hoped for the Placements and higher study activities. But a month delay was happened this year. So a question was raised by a MLA in Tamilnadu assembly meet about the exam schedule of the Anna University and the when the results will be announced. This question was answered by the Higher Education minister and Co-Chancellor as ” We hope the confusions will be solved soon and the perfect exam schedule will be announced soon and the exam results will be announced for the final year students within a month after the exams as we’re focusing on the future activities of the final year students . ”
