National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a key functionary of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Striving to realize the Indian Space Vision through Earth Observation. It is responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programme through satellite data acquisition, archival, processing, dissemination, Remote Sensing Application^, Training and Capacity Building. It provides of Aerial sendees in the civilian Sector for the country. The Organization has five Regional Centres at Bangalore, Xagpur, Kolkata and Jodhpur to address region/area specific remote sensing application needs. The Earth Station located at Shadnagar, 65 kms from Hyderabad city, which is being developed as a full fledged centre to carry out the entire chain of remote sensing activities. NRSC is continuously exploring the practical use of Remote Sensing for societal applications through multilevel initiatives, development of value added data services and Remote Sensing Applicati ons.

Pay & Allowances:

Selected candidate will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SD' in the pay band of Rs.15600-39100/- with grade pay of Rs.6600/-. The gross emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs.41,830/-.
