Nagpur University Engineering New Winter 2012 Exam Date

RASHTRASANT Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has yet to decide the date of engineering examination. Afte the issue regarding poor quality of valuation and demand for students to get admission in fifth semester was raised in Senate, university had postponed the examination. Now the date of some thousand engineering aspirants is hanging as date of examination has not been finalised.
In the last meeting of Academic council it was decided to allow Engineering students to appear in examination. The students were expected to take admission by November 19. 2012 and after that within 15 days they have to submit application for examination. To submit the examination form, students have to bring certificate from the Principal of the respective colleges. The dale of the commencement of the examination has not yet been fixed.
The postponement of examination has created lot of problems.. There are examinations like GATE and other in January. How the students will prepare for the same  is a million dollar question. For the students belonging to Engineering & Technology Faculty who have become eligible for admission to higher class/semester after declaration of results of reassessment for which the Principals of the concerned colleges should take appropriate action.
University in its notification has made it very clear that the examination forms of the students should be submitted to the University through the colleges within 15 days from the last date of admission and the theory examination shall be conducted by end of December. 2012 and the practical examination shall be conducted after the theory examinations. The Principals of the colleges should complete the curriculum of the students within 31 days by December 10 and certify to that effect. Students belonging to all other faculties may take admission after becoming eligible for the same, after declaration of their reassessment results. The colleges admitting them should complete their curriculum and forward their examination forms to the University.
