Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct Geologist Examination 2012 from 1 December in accordance with the rules by the Ministry of Mines. The examination will be taken for two categories which comprises of  Category I posts in the Geological Survey of India (GSI) and Category II posts in the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB). The Geologist Examination 2012 will be based on written examination followed by personal interview for successful candidates. The written examination will consists of Five Sections which includes General English, Geology Paper I, Geology Paper II, Geology Paper III, and Hydrogeology.
