Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture   of Govt, of India and Govt, of Tamil Nadu, is entrusted with the implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Chennai.

CMRL invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts in CMRL:

• Station Controller           -60
• Train Operator               - 87
• Jr. Engineer (Stations)   - 97

First class (60 % of marks and above) three years Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) from a Govt, recognized Institute. Age not exceeding 28 years.
Jobs of Station Controller and Train Operator are inter-changeable in nature (subject to job rotation) as per the requirement of CMRL.

Payment of application fee (including postage charges) (non-refundable):
a.  General & Others (including Ex-servicemen) candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- and SC/ST candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.100/- (for processing & postage charge) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of M/s Chennai Metro Rail Limited, Chennai payable at Chennai. The application number, candidate's name, address and mobile number are to be indicated at the backside of the Demand Draft.
b.  Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to
verify their eligibility, time limit before paying the application fee.
c. Application form forwarded without Demand Draft will be summarily rejected.
