SAPS RACE 2013 examination

SOMALWAR Academy of Professional Studies (SAPS) 2013 , a knowledge centre empowering students of all stages, in association with The Hitavada. has organised a unique Talent Search Examination. Recognition and Assistance in Curricular Excellence (RACE) for 7th and 8th standard students. This exam was conducted in two stages where the stage I was a competitive exam and stage II was personal interviews of top 25 rank-holders each from standard 7th and 8th.

Around I.(XX) students all over Vidarbha appeared for RACE stage Iexam from which top 25 rank-holders each from standard 7th and 8th were shortlisted for stage II panel interviews. Siage I exam was framed on die backdrop of national-level competitive exam with two set of papers-- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). In this exam, adequate weights were allocated to Aptitude, Mathematics, Sciences and Humanities for the selection of students. Stage II was framed with a view to build student's confidence level wherein panel of experts assessed students based on (heir knowledge, application of knowledge and expression power. SAPS 2013 had selected eminent personalities in various fields to conduct these interviews and it was a value adding experience for all the participants.
