Candidates who possess the qualification mentioned below may attend the WALK-IN INTERVIEW on 28.01.2013 (Monday) between 9.00 AM and 12.00 Noon with all original certificates, including community certificate and recent passport size photograph for the post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW under the DST funded Project entitled “Development of electrochemical based biosensor for detection of lymphatic filarial parasite Wuchereris bancrofti in vectors”. The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year and will be extended upto two years depending upon his/her performance and availability of funds. Name of the post - Junior Research Fellow â€" 1 post 1. Educational Qualifications Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Animal Science/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with NET qualified (or) Graduate degree in professional courses and GATE or equivalent qualification. 2. Fellowship amount NET qualified Rs.16,000/- pm + HRA admissible 3. Age limit Below 28 years (as on the date of walk in interview) and relaxable for Govt. Servant SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules in force 6. venue: Vector Control Research Centre, Medical Complex Indira Nagar, Puducherry-605 006 Candidates who wish to appear for the interview can download the application format given in the web site (www.vcrc.res.in), complete it and bring it along with the required enclosures.
