What is the process to be followed for issuing an Aadhaar?
A resident will have to go to an agency registration with proof of photo identity / address proof documents, fill out an application form (optional to Registrar) and provide supporting documentation. If the resident does not have any documents to prove their identity will require an introducer which he / she enrolled.



The person authorized registrar will verify the information with documents Demographic data are entered into the software.
Biometric information of ten fingerprints and iris scan both the photograph of the face of the resident also capture
The data will be sent to CIDR
A de-duplication test comparing the biometric information of the resident to the records of the database is performed if the individual is not already in the database, Aadhaar will be issued and sent to the person to his / her residence. The Aadhaar number will also be sent to the registry for use in its database service.
If the person is already in the database, or if any other quality validation error / data application will be rejected and the person will be informed of it. The detailed process of Aadhaar registration is available on the website in the document
