IIT-JEE 2013 Important Dates Admission Process
THE registrations of IIT-JEE has begun. The IIT-JEE exam 2013 is being conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally-funded technical institutions.
â CBSE will conduct JEE Main exam for first time in 2013 on April 7.
â The JEE Main Offline Exam: April 7, 2013.
â Online exam: April 8 to 30, 2013.
â The JEE-Advanced - Offline exam: June 2, 2013.
â Admission to NITs will be based on 40 % weightage for performance in Class XII board marks (normalised) and the remaining 60 % weightage would be given to performance in JEE Main and a combined All India Rank (AIR) would be decided accordingly.

â The JEE Mam examination will also be conducted in regional languages of the state. JEE Advanced will be conducted in English/Hindi medium only. JEE (main) will consist of paper! and paper-ll. While the first paper is for all those who want to pursue engineering, the latter is for students who wish to study architecture or planning at non-IIT institutes. Paper! will test the candidates in physics, chemistry and mathematics in the objective format. This paper can be given either online or offline (pen & paper mode). Paper-ll is available only in the offline format.
â Paper! (offline) and paper II will be held next year on April 7. The online exam for paper-l wifl be held from April 8-25 and candidates will be required to make their slot/date selection through online mode between February 115. If an online test candidate does not make this selection then a randomly selected slot will be assigned, based on the availability.
