ADMISSION 2011-12 THE PROGRAM: The KBS Follows a unique
teaching and training program centered on application skills built on strong
theoritical foundation. The unique training methodology is implemented with the
active participation of the corporate and proffesionally run business
enterprises where a student is assigned to work during the entire duration of
the program. The training, closely guided, monitored and supervised by the
faculty and the mentor from industry, presents a business.Applications are
invited for admission to MBA program at the Business School from candidates
fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility 1. A graduation
or equivalent in any discipline with at least fifty per cent marks or equivalent
grade points
2. A test score of CAT, MAT, XAT or GMAT
3. Good
quantitative and communication skills
4. At least two years working
experience after graduation is preferred
Those students whose prior
education is not through the medium of English should also have an appropriate
English language qualification such as IELTS/ TOEFL (paper based, Computer
based, internet based).
Selection Selection will be based on
evaluation of application, academic performance, work experience, test score,
recommendation letters, and the interview process. In order to be eligible for
admission you must have an acceptable score in any of the following tests: CAT,
MAT, XAT or GMAT.
Candidates with weakness in any aspect, otherwise found
suitable for the program could have the opportunity of entering a remedial
program prior to joining MBA program.

Filled in application form along with the application fee of Rs.1000 or
25USD in the form of a demand draft favoring Kochi Business School, payable at
Kochi be forwarded to the Admissions office. If you need any assistance in this

Finance your Degree The tuition and
other fees for the entire program is Rs 500,000 or US $ 12,000, payable in
advance. This will cover all academic expenses and services. You will need to
budget an additional amount of Rs 100,000 or US$ 2,250 towards personal expenses
such as accommodation, food, laundry and local travel. The students must also
take a health cover policy during the program. The details could be obtained
from the admissions office.
Financial assistance and scholarships
Our philosophy is that no deserving student should go
without studying at KBS. The school offers several scholarships and fee waiver
programs to deserving students based on their financial standing. The school
will provide all the assistance required to help the students obtain student
loans from the banks. Every semester meritorious students will be eligible for
Director's award which will meet their living expenses.
